Freelance Illustrator and Creative Artworker
Hi, I’m Nick Sellers — an illustrator and creative artworker who loves turning ideas into something you can see, feel, and connect with. My work blends imagination with a practical eye: I’m just as happy sketching a new illustration or logo as I am perfecting the fine details of an interpretation of a distinguished heritage site.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with agents, editors, and private clients, as well as working in the heritage and advertising industries. These experiences have given me the chance to take on a wide variety of exciting, challenging projects — from intricate editorial illustration to bold visual campaigns. My BA in Illustration (Editorial) also built a strong foundation in advertising, marketing, signage, print management, and creative direction.
I’m driven, detail-focused, and genuinely love working with people. I pride myself on being able to understand and interpret a client’s vision, then bring it to life with craft, creativity, and a high standard of finish. Whether working solo under tight deadlines or collaborating as part of a creative team, I bring the same dedication and perfectionism to every project.
My skills range from creating realistic, finely detailed illustrations to designing engaging graphics in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Each piece I create is made with care, purpose, and a bit of magic!
I live in Thorpe Willoughby, a small village just outside York, North Yorkshire.
